LET’S MEET
We are back to face to face meetings baby!
After long and multiple zoom meetings during lock down meetings we are back to our pre-covid rendez-vous spot at Hôtel Villa la tour in Nice. We learned a lot and we met incredible people coming from the 4 corners of the globe. That’s why we are holding Hybrid meetings! You can either come and enjoy some tapas and sip some wine or join us from your couch in the French Riviera, New York City, Nairobi or Tokyo! As long as the time of the meeting suits you (Timezone wise).
Either ways, if you join us for a meeting, you’ll always be welcomed in a cosy atmosphere surounded by great individuals with a variety of cultures, ethnicities, languages and ages. We, at Toastmasters Nice, we are a club like no other. Our differences make our strength as we have a participative and nurturing environnement and this result can be seen direclty in the variety of topics addressed in our of speeches and the quality of our evaluations.

Here’s what a typical evening programme looks like :
19.00 Tapas & Introductions
19.30 Toastmasters of the Evening introduces the programme
19.35 Table Topics (Impromptu speeches) : selected speakers speak “off the cuff’’ for 2 minutes on an unknown subject.
20.00 Prepared Speeches : 3/4 members give a prepared speech (5-7 minutes)
20h30 Tapas break
20.45 Evaluations : The Evaluators judges the qualities of a speech and offer points for improvement
21.20 Chief Evaluator : Evaluates the evening
21.25 Ribbons for the winners of table-topics, Best Speech, Best Evaluation
21.30 Meeting close
Role Guidelines:
As a Toastmaster you will have an opportunity to enhance the evening by serving in many key capacities. By participating in all program functions, you will receive invaluable experience in communication and leadership.
